INTRODUCTION
Saiguru Seva Sanstha, founded in 2016 and led by Ms. Kavita Vyavahare, supports visually impaired students by providing accommodation, essential care, and a nurturing environment. Located in Narhe and Wagholi, Pune, the trust assists over 100 students, both girls and boys, helping them pursue education from junior college to specialized courses.
What We Do
>>> Safe Accommodation:
In Narhe, over 25 girls live in a flat identified by 2BHK. In Wagholi, more than 75 students, both girls and boys, are accommodated in several units that have limited water supply and rented facilities. The total monthly rent exceeds Rs. 80,000, with an additional Rs. 15,000 spent on water tankers, plus extra costs for electricity.
>>> Transportation Challenges:
Our students depend on public buses to get to college, facing challenges in navigating bus stops and schedules. Commuting safely is particularly difficult during peak hours.
>>> Education Support:
We aim to offer scholarships and fee assistance for students pursuing higher education. Unfortunately, complex procedures often limit government support, leaving many students struggling to pay their tuition fees.
>>> Healthcare Access:
Access to affordable healthcare is challenging for our students. Financial constraints limit regular check-ups and preventive care, increasing their difficulties.
